VVJH recognizes Down Syndrome Awareness Month by "Rocking Our Socks" on October 7 to show support.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
During this month, we come together as a community to honor every individual touched by breast cancer—survivors, fighters, and the cherished ones we've lost. Wearing pink is a powerful way to show your support. We invite all VVISD students and staff to wear pink every Thursday in October as a sign of unity. Together, we can stand strong in the fight against breast cancer. Your participation matters, and it sends a message of solidarity and hope.

PORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Dear VVJH Parents and Families, Good morning. We were made aware of a social media post circulating among students regarding our school. We immediately contacted law enforcement who are investigating. School will operate on a normal schedule today with additional police presence on campus as a precaution. We ask parents to monitor their children's use of social media and remind them that threatening posts, even in jest, can lead to serious consequences including arrest. We will provide updates as appropriate. Thank you for your support.
