Valley View ISD serves the educational needs of the communities of south Pharr and east Hidalgo in south Texas. Located in one of the state's fastest growing areas, the district consists of three secondary campuses and five elementary schools. The student body is mostly Hispanic/Latino of Mexican descent.

Valley View Jr. High student population is made up of approximately 550 students in the sixth and seventh grades. Our campus team encompasses 48 faculty members and 13 auxiliary staff. The administrative staff includes our principal, Mrs. Sandra Riojas; assistant principals Mrs. Gilma Aguirre, & Mrs. Maribel Tanguma; lead teacher Mr. Sergio Garza; and counselors Mrs. Frances Barroso & Ms. Joanna Acosta.
Our main goal is to achieve an exemplary academic program. We plan to adhere to our Campus Improvement Plan, state Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and District Plan in order to accomplish our educational goal.
